I'm currently at 79,642 on my web counter. I know I could cheat anticipate the inevitable flipover by saying I'll give a fic to whoever flips it and waiting a while (twenty minutes maybe ;-)), but that usually ends up with me writing about five fics as I feel sorry for people who come second. And it is kind of cheating ::looks virtuous::
So I thought; 80,000, I'll do a fic with eight characters in it. You all get to pick up to eight characters(divided boy/girl as LJ won't give me enough buttons on one question, not because you have to pick four from each; they can be eight male, or eight female, or any mix)) and whichever characters come out with most votes get in the fic.
You can pick less than eight if you don't see eight you like, but not more. I don't know why. You just can't ;-)
And yes, it's been a nasty, nasty day. Henman lost. I woke up with a runny nose, blocked sinuses, sore throat and after three hours sleep, so I am a zombie(I had to go down and let the dirty stop out cat in at 3.00 am. Not pleased with him.) I got bitten four times in as many minutes as I sat writing smut this afternoon too (the only thing that's cheered me up all day is Faith/Wes and Giles/Wes getting smooches) and I could see the bug hovering but didn't manage to squoosh it. David is home (good), sounds worse than me (bad).
Next year, Henman. Next year. ::hugs him, because, damn he walked off looking as if he needed one::
ETA Yes, I missed off Ethan, no I didn't mean to, yes he'll be in the fic anyway. I'm The Author. I can do that (oh, the power...) ::apologetic looks at fellow Ethan fans::
