Happy, just in the nick of time, Birthday to
pukajen! Hope it was a fun one ::snuggles::
I've been running behind all day, due to the incredible fact that David and I woke up at 10.30. People with children under the age of nine will understand the magnitude of this.
I also had some amazing dreams; vivid, in colour (I read once we dream in black and white and I'm always delighted when I can prove that wrong as it annoyed me. Last night the colour was yellow. Distinctly remember seeing it.) and just so very layered. It was a Harry Potter themed dream; I had this book and it was a HP but written in 1923 and the cover fell off and ...oh well, never mind. Told David about it minutes after waking and it sounded sense free; hours later it won't have gained coherence. I enjoyed it anyway :-)
We woke to find summer had ended. The hot humidity of the day before had given way to cool dampness and every fresh gust of wind winnowed yellow leaves from the tree in the garden. I'm getting all 'seasons of mist-y' aren't I? Heh.
And I've just ironed David's shirts. He's packing ::broods sadly:: Nice that he'll get to see his parents of course, but he's going to be gone for a week.
