Oh; defeating the purity of the GIP but I just wondered; we have about a thousand cherry tomatoes that we literally can't give away (darn friends growing their own; shouldn't be allowed). I'm damned if I'm skinning cherry toms but we can't eat them all so I want to make a sauce to freeze; would simmering then sieving out the seeds/skins work? Anyone tried it with tiny tomatoes?
And, speaking ofcourgettes veggies, the first ripe raspberry appeared (well, yes, technically it's a fruit...fussy!) on the canes today. Why ours fruit this late I don't know, but mmm, homemade raspberry jam on the way...
