Did I have to find out from the Netscape start up page last night that my woobie Tim Henman has got to the semi finals of the US Open? Why didn't anyone tell me? ::sniffles::
Because I usually only get to see him during Wimbledon, and he got knocked out of the Olympics first thing, and somehow it never occurred to me that he'd be in this one, though as he's ranked fifth in the world it should have I suppose. I'm not so much of a fairweather fan (that really doesn't, can't, apply to Wimbledon ;-)) as a two week a year fan, but it would've been nice to have got to see him in action.
Now he'll be playing tomorrow (I think) against Federer, and not only will he likely get knocked out but David will want to watch soccer so I won't even get to see it.
