It's done! And, truly, Eleanor did most of it. So, for all those who were indulgent with my squeeing, here's the polar bear diorama and thank you very much to all who offered help, especially
knitmeapony. We're still fine-tuning the leaping fish, but, though they don't show up on the photo, we have snowflakes dangling from threads from the roof, so we have some 'movement' as you suggested ::hugs::. Need more snow but it keeps falling off the back wall...
Heh; we found an awesome recording of a polar bear howling but David, despite being an engineer, refused to work up some way we could incorporate that in, maybe with a button you could press to start a tape. I don't know. Some parents just don't support their kids, y'know? ;-)

I am helping my daughter (2nd grade) with a polar bear artic project. Could you tell me in more detail how did you make the water. You said bubble wrap painted white glue mixed with pain. What color is the paint? What glue? Name brand of glue. Elmers white glue. I think this is really cool. Thanks.
