I didn't get chance to update yesterday and I'm up to skip a gazillion, but I just wanted to leap in a time machine and wish
cheesygirl a wonderfully happy birthday for yesterday ::spanks and smooches::
It was a busy, busy day; much cleaning in the morning (the fridge. oh God, we've been eating the food from there?), spent the afternoon writing an incredibly draining, emotional chapter of Secretary and then there was a mad panic to get the kids ready for the candy collecting. Er, trick or treating.
I got dressed up in heels, skin tight mini skirt, corset type top and devil's horns which David said, boosting my ego nicely, would have the teenagers coming back for seconds. He's such a sweetie. Insane but sweet.
He got done up as Alice Copper at the last minute and could only barely fit in his leather jacket; not a weight issue as much as he's just bigger somehow. Or maybe it shrank...
He and a friend went out with the girls while friend's wife and I stayed in, nattering away like mad and tsking when the doorbell rang and I had to abandon my Merrydown vintage cider and stagger to the door.
Then they went and I collapsed to nibble many many bite sized chocolate bars and watch Boston Legal. It's only the third episode I've seen, and I'm watching it for James Spader (because of the Secretary connection, natch) and William Shatner who's hilarious. Never seen The Practice so I'm probably missing all sorts of nuances but it's very funny and it's nice to have something to watch. Apart from that, it's just Wonderfalls (first unaired ep tonight, hurray) and Queer Eye but that's usually a repeat.
