I have emerged tired but content from The Party. I have a blister from blowing up 30 metallic balloons but it was worth it. They played with them for ages. gathering them up and throwing them over the balcony so they floated down the stairs, bouncing them... really is the simplest, least likely to end in tears toy.
No one was naughty, the older kids were so very helpful and fun all round and L got so much loot she was overwhelmed.
And I ate way too many jelly beans....
