A Wrinkle in Time. Long before there was magical Harry Potter, young baby boomers fell in love with Madeleine l'Engle's enchanting series of sugar-spun fantasies about siblings Meg and Charles. {...} transformed into a delightful Disney mini-series that preserved all of the books' winsome effervescence.

What? What? I loved the books, and the others she's done, and I've read and reread them many times, though I haven't seen the adaptation, but 'sugar-spun'? Bloody terrifying in places. They're just not being done justice here at all.

Winsome ? Gah.

And am I the only one watching the unaired Wonderfalls episodes on Vision TV? No one seems to be mentioning them...did you all d/l them already or something? I'm enjoying them; some more than others, but last night's with the Russian mail-order bride was good.
