kindkit minutes before she confessed to being the person who left an anonymous comment on willshenilshe's LJ. The same way she confessed after anonymously flaming Willa some months ago for no apparant reason.
I'll also freely admit to being pretty convinced it wasglossing who made the comment.
It sounded like her.
But it was Kindkit.
Hmm.
Kindkit, if you're reading this, I can't remember the exact fic and I don't have time to wade through and find it, but once you apologised to me for using a metaphor in one of your fics that was close to something in mine. I vaguely recall something to do with flowers, a tied-up Spike and a ficathon? Whatever. You did it, I never noticed or cared, and I told you it didn't matter anyway; hive mind and all that.
You've done it. You know it happens. You know it's a whole different ball game to plagiarism to have an image, a phrase settle down into your mind and resurface with the label washed off so you think it's yours.
And in Willa's case, even that excuse isn't needed because she _didn't read_ Gloss' fic.
You don't believe her though do you? Which means you're calling her a plagiarist and a liar based on the scantiest of evidence.
Willa - unnecessarily in my opinion - apologised and changed the fic immediately. You seem to take this as evidence of guilt.
And she is guilty, isn't she? Of being popular, prolific, talented and getting more feedback than you and Gloss do.
It's not brave to own up. Not really. It's actually pretty bloody stupid. Stand proud as an anonymous flamer next time.
And somehow I think there will be.
A next time that is.
And all those people flocking to pet Kindkit for this terrible ordeal she's going through when all she wanted to do was protect her dear friend from the sheer hell of someone saying Blue!Pospiscle!Oz!... I'm baffled. Really. So it's fine to _twice_ attack someone anonymously -and not the fic, do not even _try_ to say it was the fic not the author being attacked because that's utter bollocks - if you own up later? Really?
