It's also the birthday of someone not on LJ; David.

He's had two bottles of whiskey, a Queen DVD and some soccer shirts so far.
The single malt from me is from the Cape Breton distillery on Cape Breton island here in Canada. On our honeymoon, ten years ago, we came to Canada and CBI was one of the places we visited. When we saw the distillery we went there for a tour and a tasting only to discover that it had just opened, and whisky takes at least 8 years to be ready...
Been a while, but I got him his taste in the end.
And, hello? Who ordered the freaking ice storm? David's parents fly out from England tomorrow and we had eight inches of snow overnight that turned to freezing rain (which woke me up clattering against the windows) and it's a white wintery wilderness out there.
David and Dad will sent to mush around to Sobeys later for the last minute fresh veggie shopping; not really drivable.

Speaking of Secretary, we're going to try for at least one update daily but rl means we can't all write at the moment with holidays and such. And I don't think there'll be one on Christmas Day...
