Happy birthday to the ever-adorable
circe_tigana and the ever-snuggly
snoopygirll. Hope this day's brought you both much happiness ::hugs galore::
I've just got back from seeing Lemony Snicket, as it seems to be called.... not bad, but I haven't read them so I couldn't fill in the gaps. Eleanor, who has, says much got missed out but she liked it. And Dawn! In the coming soons! As a genius ice skater! Glad to see MT getting a good role.
Have a very Happy New Year; for some of you 2005 is already here, of course. We're staying in and there's a magnum of champagne (well, Freixinet but David did give me some Pol Roger for Christmas which I think we'll save for a romantic evening later on...) waiting in the fridge.
I have no time to do a detailed retrospective but 2004 has been a busy, busy year, dominated, on the fic writing side, by my first co-written ventures; three times lucky with
wesleysgirl on Act of Nature, Sick of Shadows and One Year On, over several months with
justhuman on well over 50,000 words of No Limits and, since June, with
allegraslade,
darling_effect and
lovesbitca on Secretary which is currently at 510,000 words with, sadly, an end in sight. Sometime. I don't think I could've found nicer people to write with and more talented would be a stretch too. Thank you all so very much for letting me work with you ::hugs::
And thank you to everyone who's beta read, read or reviewed my fics, cheered me up here when I've needed it, celebrated with me, and borne patiently with me when I've kerfuffled, ranted and raged.
What 2005 will bring, I don't know. I want to try original fic and I've already got some fanfic projects lined up. I suppose it's going to be busy again.
I like it that way. Rather be busy than bored.
But I'm not often bored with friends like you ::all encompassing hug::
