Just got back from volunteering at Lauren's JK class. It started snowing, very sneakily, when we were in the gym. The grass has already disappeared again. Darn it.
Writing - I feel as if I'm on holiday somehow, even though I'm working on three things at once and my fingers are cramping up.

wesleysgirl and I started our Giles/Ethan on Thursday and we're up to 9,500 words and I have to say I was getting quite emotional writing late last night because - well, it was at that kind of point. Going so well. ::smooches WG::
I was also discovering that I am incredibly strange, as I spent two hours tracking down the lyrics for every song, not mentioned in Secretary, no, not yet, but on the mix CD,lovesbitca made for it. Perhaps I'm taking The Annotated Secretary (can I call it TAS? Please? Yes? Thank you) project a leetle too seriously. On the other paw, the songs she chose have such apposite lyrics, just made for header quotations, that I think it's time well spent.
And speaking of Secretary... there's bad news and good. The good news is thatnikitangel has chosen wonderful topics for the four word count competition drabbles. The bad is that the drabbles are cancelled. The good is that we're doing chapter sized fics instead. The bad is that Bitca showed us the first 1,000 words of hers, killed me dead with the hotness and isn't finishing it until the weekend ::blinks away anguished tears of wanting::
It's a mixed bag, but I think overall, it's coming down on the good side :-) We hope to post the four fics (we took one topic each) next week sometime, on the Secretary LJ.
