I have lost all my bookmarks (nothing else, just them) and a restore hasn't fixed it ::headdesk::. At least after the last time I copied the important ones so it's not a total disaster.
It's a PD day, so no school and we'll be having lots and lots of kids over (really lots; 14 of us altogether). Going to be noisy but fun I think.

And today my web page turns two! How the hell I set it up solo (pre LJ days or you can bet I'd have asked for help!) I don't know, but I do know Susan, a newsgroup friend, stepped in at the end to rescue me as I could see it but no one else could, as all the links pointed to stories and pictures on my hard drive, not the FTP server.... :;blushes::
It was purple with a picture of Spike on it in those days :;wistful:; then it went yellow. I used to colour code all the background colours for the stories; some still are that I haven't got around to changing. Now I'm severe black on white but I sort of miss carefully picking a colour. Though the one for the story about the manure demon was a challenge...
The hit counter this morning was a nicely symmetrical 97970.

I love my little page and I'm very proud of it, but it owes a lot to a lot of people and I don't forget that.
