Second counter drabble. 'Striking a Hard Bargain' Giles/Spike

May Giles forgive me ;-)

This is partly because I was watching S4 Buffy and partly because dialogue-only drabbles are hard and I've only managed it once, I think.



Striking a Hard Bargain

"You didn't pay me enough for this."

"Be quiet and get on with it."

"Well, pull 'em down then. Or do you want me to do a grope test?"

"No!"

"That's better. Lift your shirt up. Hmm. It's smaller. Yeah. Definitely shrinking."

"You're sure?"

"This is the fourth time. It's bleeding well branded onto my eyeballs. It's smaller, okay?"

"Thank God."

"If you must. Don't you usually threaten me around now? Mention this and blah, blah?"

"Consider it said."

"Fine. No mentioning the Fyarl tail."

"Right."

"What about this swelling here? That's getting bigger..."

"How much?"

"To keep quiet?"

"No."
