Wanting and Waiting
The first time was impulsive. A friendly swat on Wesley's ass as they stood over a corpse, with Angel's blood hot from the kill.
But Wesley didn't smile back, and the convulsive swallow and widening eyes told their own story.
The second time was a question, a test; a contrived reprimand with Angel's hand resting on Wesley's lower back during the harsh, undeserved lecture, ending with a short slide downward and a sharp, swift smack. And Wesley's quickening breath caught and stuttered and said 'yes' and 'please'.
He made Wesley wait for the third time.
Made it worth it though.
