The new TV Guide just came. It has a page listing cult shows with columns. Angel is listed like this;
Genre; Eerie soap opera
Watch if you liked : Batman, Buffy
Fan accessory: A large cross pendant
Best asset: The chance to check in with Cordelia, Buffy's one-time antagonist.
Cordy was a Scooby! Sure there was some needle but antagonist is taking it way too far. And Cordy is the best the show has to offer (I'm assuming this is reruns btw)? Soap opera doesn't quite seem to fit either. Like Buffy, Angel is hard to classify but soap opera seems to dumb it down, even though it has elemnts of that within it.
Maybe I'm still ticked that it says the shows have 'legions of loyal (and slightly obsessed) fans' 'M not obsessed. Not. Much...
