Yesterday I said that it was likely that two people; Glossing and Kindkit, were involved in the phonecalls to Willa's publisher accusing her of plagiarism the backlash from which caused her to delete her LJs.
I didn't have facts and I shouldn't have said that. It was supposition based on their previous behaviour, which is a thin straw to balance on.
I apologise to them unreservedly for doing that. It was absolutely out of line and I really shouldn't have done it.
I am sorry. No excuses. Just sorry.
I'm also sorry for any distress this has caused people on my f-list. You didn't deserve that.
I'm not leaving fandom, I'm not deleting my LJ; still got fic to post for one thing. But apart from that I'm shutting up now for a bit until this blows over.
