Okay, can now get on with Saturday.
It's raining in a torrential, Noah's Ark kind of way with thunder that shakes the windows and makes the lights flicker.
I'm tired but enjoyed the Chapters event; we joined the queue at 10 with coffee and as there were two of us got to take turns wandering off to get more reading material ( I skim-read the new Evanovich, which I wasn't planning to buy, my friend a million magazines.). Served at 12.15, home for 12.40. Mildly miffed that the book I bought with discounts and my Chapters card discount for $30 was on sale in the supermarket for $24.60 but what the heck.
The book's shorter and all I could think of as I read it was the profound effect it'll have on the fanfic section of the fandom, not so much because of what's in it, but because it's new.
A fluid, evolving fandom; don't have one of those so much now, not in a canonical way, anyway.
