Just waved goodbye to [livejournal.com profile] autobadgirl and [livejournal.com profile] nwhepcat who came to stay the night. Lovely to see Autobadgirl again, and the children were thrilled that she was coming, and to meet Hepcat, who is charming, for the first time, but hopefully not the last. David fed us and vanished out of the way so that we could chat and we watched a Little Britain episode; they were giving away DVDs of the first episode in Toronto for some reason and a friend got us one.

We sat outside last night, which was very pleasant, but woke to grey skies and now it's raining hard...
It's always so nice to meet LJ people and be able to talk about stuff that's important to me without getting looks of glazed incomprehension in return. I also find that for people who're technically strangers, it's amazing how easy it is to just start talking and feel very comfortable and relaxed (well I did!).

David took a photo of us; Hepcat, me, Autobadgirl:

Three of us

Ack! As I was typing I realised my feet were itching, glanced down and a mosquito was biting me. I squished it and blood - MY blood - came pouring out.

Ish. Ick.
