Slightly hungover and seem to recall telling all my girl friends about writing slash.Some didn't know that. Including the woman whose kids I mind. Hmm. Avoid cider on an empty tummy and remember if you think you're being witty it might be time to shut up. Funny; we were all outside mingling when it came on to rain. Got too much to ignore so we went inside. It was just a shower but within five minutes every child was in the basement, every woman in the dim family room guzzling alcohol and talking about sex with much raucous laughter and the men were outside huddled around the barbecue talking about, let me see, bacon, price of gas, the economy.
Today we went to Ikea to buy a shoe tidy. It was 40 minutes away - a Grand Adventure. They didn't have the one we wanted from the catalogue, the ones they did have we didn't like and were 'oversold' as was everything we wanted. 'Sold out' is so much more comprehensible. We did see a 5 shelf bookcase marked down to $29! So I bought it. Didn't want the trip to be wasted. Now I'm rejoicing in overflow space in my main library. Hurrah and such. We also got a plethora of kiddies items which were all very cheap until we paid for them.
Still haven't fixed the links on my page.
Got my Angel fic assignment. Eek. Going to have to be smut free, it really is. Not only can't I see these two together but they're both female. Never written f/f slash, not sure I could do it convincingly. It's also going to take research as I find I'm fuzzy on when what happened where on Angel. I'm watching it all over again, an episode a night so it shouldn't be too hard to do. Just started S3 last night.
