Went to the walk in clinic, walked in and read a book and a half. Two hours later I emerged feeling slightly reassured after the sort of tests they give drunk people with much touching of fingers to noses. Seems MS is more of a likely ailment than a stroke but it could also be nothing to worry about. Hmm. I'll take a main course of nothing with a side order of no worries then. I have to go and see my proper doctor when he's back off holiday.

Thanks so much for all the hugs and advice to check it out. I'm glad I did, even if this is just the start of the checking process rather than the end.
