First Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it. Hope it's a fun-filled stress-free day.
Second, we have snow, proper snow, but no need to shovel yet snow. Finest kind.
Third I didn't post the final part of Leaving Time and officially suck. We had some edits in from the publisher on Laying a Ghost and because I'm like that I dropped everything to do them. Work ethic thingummy I suspect; fic is a hobby and fun, the edits are a paid job and therefore come first, as does some proof reading I'm doing.
Even though I enjoy the editing and the proofing too.
As I really doubt anyone cares if I post today and I do want toadd in some more smut get it right, I shall tootle along as fast as possible and post tomorrow, all being well.
I've learned a valuable life lesson though; when you're writing in a fandom that you know backwards, forwards and inside out, daily updates are doable. New fandom, new characters, complex story? Not so much.
No more WiPs. My nerves won't stand it. I shall write, revise, get beta'd, revise and _then_ post. Promise. New leaves would be turning if they weren't buried under the snow.
Still going to have cliffhangers though :-)
David found this cool site probably all of you know; Google Earth. You can zoom right down on your address, which isn't new, but then you can angle the screen and fly along a road, or over a lake, and it's totally brilliant and I love it. Whee....
And I found ljseek.com and wow. All these people talking about me I didn't know about. And some of the entries are f-locked but it still shows you a bit of it, which isn't so good. Hmm.
