David is at the pub watching Liverpool play West Ham in the FA Cup final. I just had a peek at the score so far and EEEEEEP!!!!
Last night we installed my birthday present; a 250 GB external hard drive with pushbutton backup. I naively assumed it was a case of plug and go. We plugged it in at 6.00 and it said as we were on XP we should reformat; that took 90 minutes. Then we decided we'd back up our entire hard drive as we had the room and that took until 11.00, I kid you not. If we do regular weekly backups, we'll have to do it overnight; that was horrendous.
But I have oodles of room now. Yay.
So much to do, so little time... Mum and Dad have been here a week now; I'm catching them up on Supernatural as they love that; just got the two part finale to watch. They also like Bones and House so that's handy, and adored Serenity as they're big Firefly fans.
I'm dying to start the next part of the Eclipsed fic and I'm plotting it in my head all the time but I can't get the time to sit down and do it just yet. The sequel to Ghost with WG is going well, though; we're up to 36,000 words in under 3 weeks, so go us.
I think I have an idea for the Jack/Daniel ficathon, too...
