Zippy fast update.
Finally got in to see my doctor about the numb little finger last night. Probably a compressed ulnar nerve but I'm in for bloodwork today (which means a 12 hr fast so I'm typing this with no breakfast in me and I'll be leaving soon so I get there as soon as the lab opens) then have to see a neurologist and possibly a CT scan. Oh joy :-(
I found out Predatory Acts has been nominated in lots of categories here;

Whoever it was ::hugs:: That really made me feel appreciated. It will inspire me to write more Preying later on. Got oodles of exposition but I do have Giles, so it should be OK; he is an expert after all.
Speaking of Giles, well, ASH...oh, boy. Add me to the guh crowd after watching MI 5. He wasn't Giles or Ripper but he was still just so...guh. I mean; he was wearing a blanket, a parka and had bare legs sticking out of wellies and he still looked hot and dignified. The man's incredible. And hot. And...guh.
Why are school holidays so long? Went mini golfing yesterday and Eleanor threw a wobbly because one of her friends went before her. Tears, tantrum, banging putter on ground; just freaked. Not like her at all. I looked for a suitable binker in which to bury her. Can always come back and get her when she's grown out of it. Sheesh; she's 8 in a few weeks; is this a preview of adolescence?
Rented Sleepy Hollow; more Depp for me to eye up. Liked it. Creepy and a bit too gruesome for me here and there, but lots of fun with all those English actors like Queenie from Blackadder. And for those people in Canada; Chocolat is on CBC this Sunday night. Neat. That'll make 4 Depp films in three weeks I've seen.
