Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] rusty_halo! You're one classy person and I hope you have a day as womderful as you are ::much love::

Me, I pulled posters off the Senior Kindergarten walls and de-stapled them. Mindless and soothing, if hell on my oh-so-recently manicured nails (now back to normal; I thought it wouldn't take long. Feet are still raspberryed up, though).

And yesterday [livejournal.com profile] wesleysgirl and I finished the sequel to our book, 'Laying a Ghost'. We rock. Yes, we do :-) And we sold it to Loose-Id, too, which is very nice, and it should be out maybe at the end of the year but don't quote me on that.

Now we just need a title but we're working on that :-)

Why is it so very, very easy to write books with WG, who's the best co-writer anyone could ask for, always, and so impossible to finish my own solo efforts? Ack. Must try harder. In September when I will be alone ALL DAY MONDAY TO FRIDAY for the first time in, well, ever, perhaps. I think I last had that luxury for one brief shining moment from September to November 2000, the year Lauren was born and Eleanor began Grade 1. She graduated Grade 5 today and goes on to a new school :;lip quivers::

Thunder. Lightning. Will hit send fast before I lose this.
