merfilly the most splendiferously sparkly of birthdays ::hugs and love:: You're one of the few people who know all my secrets knew me before LJ and still friended me when you got here, so I can't have been that bad back in the good old days on afh :-)
Hope however you celebrate, you're happy today ::more hugs::
I'm tired. So tired. But lots to do. Sleepover tonight for Eleanor and as David's not back from Scotland until tomorrow, I thought, what the hell, I'll have one, too, or at least ask some of my friends (one of whom is the mother of two of the sleepover girls) to stop and keep me company for a few hours with wine, nibbles, and a movie we'll talk over.
So I have to tidy and then buy nibbles, wine, and rent a movie. I knew there was a fatal flaw in the plan.
I finished the Jack/Teal'c vid (and woke up with a great idea for a clip which, naturally, didn't occur to me when I was doing it, oh, no.) I also proofed another book; one more to go before the holidays, which are a week today, my God, how did that happen?
When that book's proofed, I'm going to try and fit some writing in. I say that in the hopes that saying it will make it happen.
