Rainy day... feels like fall, not August. Might take the girls to get their hair cut before the back to school rush.
Floor update; they came yesterday, tried to fix it, realised the wood itself is a bad batch (which doesn't excuse all the flaws like the nail heads sticking through, the ridges and the cracks) but does excuse the gaps.
So now pretty much everyone's in agreement that the whole thing needs to be replaced and I'm waiting to hear.

Goofy and cute and now I'm getting all choked up again. Damn.
If I get chance today (got a load of proofing to do) I'm going to write up the final part of the holiday; the Vancouver/Stargate bit. That's one bit I don't want to forget.
