You know how you like someone and you go back and find all the stuff they were in and guess what, they were on a show you know and you weren't into them then so they didn't register but hey, now they are and they do and whee, it's on the shelf above your head in the DVD collection you've managed to amass? ::deep breath:; Like Joe Flanigan being in Tru Calling and, which is the one I hunted out last night, Richard Burgi in Firefly.
Mmm. Nice. Not just because he wears a long black leather duster and sneers and he and Jayne have a lovely moment when RB's character disses The Hat (do not go there, just don't, m'kay?) and Jayne's baffled because how could anyone not like The Hat but sneers back automatically on principle. No.
It's because, corrupt though he is, he's still a lawman and OBVIOUSLY a Sentinel descendant of Jim's (maybe a nephew or something, many, many times removed as Jim's with Blair in my head and I don't do mpreg) and that's how he knows it's not worth hanging around as Holden/Knox whatever is dying and he can tell. Yes. And maybe waiting back home is a dark, fucked-up version of Blair who's going to give him hell for not bringing back what he went after and all that tough guy veneer will melt away and Future!Jim will be all, "Chief... I'm sorry, okay? Look, we can raid that space brothel and spend the night in the honeymoon suite, the one with the -- yeah, you can use the chains, sure you can, just... are we good? We're good, right?"
And am I the only one who tears up, totally closed throat, needs a tissue, when watching Letters From Pegasus? Because I always do. Sheesh, it's worse than the end of The Gift.
Finally, I found a torrent for Sumuru last night and d'led and it's currently uploading so I'll post the link when it's done but sheesh, the screen caps didn't prepare me for the silly, silly, worse than Teal'c's caterpillar, beard and no 'tash look Michael Shanks was made to go with. All that arm porn! Tainted! ::weeps and wants a time machine and a razor:: I haven't watched it yet, just skimmed to see what the picture quality was like. And, yes, I know it's dire; I'm just curious. And good at fast forwarding after Swarmed.
And now I go back to tidying. The girls' rooms are... scary. Yes.
