I've just watched the S3 finale of The Sentinel. So it ended like that, with a TBC and then they cancelled it during the hiatus?
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
Thank God they relented enough for an extra 8 episodes, if nothing else.
The angst nearly killed me. Killed me dead. The betrayal of trust on both sides, the hurt, the way everyone treats them as a couple (Megan asking how they 'hooked up' is typical of the language used about them).
Jim freaking. Totally freaking at the end ::cries::
I've heard there was lots of fic that went one way after this that then got Jossed when the cancellation was rescinded; that's fascinating because of course, from a canonical POV it was totally valid for a short space of time; like post S5 Buffy fics with Buffy dead, EOS.
Like little bubble universes...
ETA Oh holy smut.nialla42 has a link to a You Tube clip from Dante's Cove. Shower smut. Hot water, hot men. Kissing and grabbing and hands and naked and... :;melts to mush::
Why have I never heard of this show? Was it, despite that promising synopsis, not good?
