Woke to a Blustery Day but hopefully the rain will stop by tonight.
Happy Birthday to a very lovely lady indeed who's not in the least bit scary or spooky but is a real treat to know:
cheesygirl. I hope you enjoy your day very much indeed :;much love::
I'm about to go out and do a few errands; the kettle broke earlier this week and now the iron has given up the ghost with a sad sigh.
Am I the only one checking the Stargate Awards once a day wondering if they'll be up soon? And feeling slightly embarrassed to admit it but what the heck :-)
My S1 Sentinel DVDs have shipped from Amazon; Mum's getting them me for Christmas so she'll whisk them off and wrap them but even so. ::happy dance of upcoming ownership::
It's Lauren's sixth birthday on Saturday and I nobly agreed to have the party from 2 to 4.30 even if that means I run the risk of forgetting to start the VCR recording TS at 4.00. I could set the timer, I suppose...
We always do the old-fashioned games because the kids don't know them and love them; Pass the Parcel, Pin the Tail, Musical Statues.
Last year's hit was apples suspended from the balcony on string and the kids had to try and take a bite out of them; no one managed it but there were a few bumped noses and lots of shrieks. And this year they've all got gappy smiles, so it'll be even harder, heheheh.
