The winners of the Stargate Awards are up.
I, um, didn't. Win, that is.
This is my brave little soldier face in case you were wondering.
Well, okay, my lip was quivering a tad as I went through the Jssix times. Do BLS's get to quiver lips? No?
I am still very chuffed that eight of my fics got nominated (thank you so much, whoever you were), pleased that my webpage stats show hundreds of new visitors from there over the last few months (mostly people reading Leaving Time) and very happy indeed for those people who won that I, with unerring good taste and judgment voted for :-)
Lovely to see familiar names winning, in all seriousness, and many congratulations and thanks to you all on writing some wonderful fics, ones I go back to again and again and always enjoy.
I did have one moment of blinking incredulously and staring very hard at the winner in one category I was nominated for, muttering 'what? WHAT?' but apart from that I was a good sport, honest ::g::
