nwhepcat. The photo of you, me and autobadgirl flashed up on my screensaver this morning (it goes randomly through any images on our computer which means people sit and stare at it for ages before finally moving the mouse) and it was a lovely reminder of meeting you.
And Happy Birthday tokres whom I haven't met as you're a long, long way away, but it doesn't matter in this squished up close space that is LJ as we're all close enough to reach out and hug.
So I will :;hugs to you both::
And now I whine.
Remember before the Book Destroying Flood of the Dishwasher, we had a mini flood in the basement when a pipe on the wall sprang a pinhole leak?
It did it again last night a few inches lower, same pipe. We have currently been without water since, ooh, about 4.00 p.m. yesterday. I feel icky, grubby, and frustrated. And the carpet down there is soaked again.
David's been soldering, cutting pipe, re-soldering, all to no avail. Just off to buy a whole new length of pipe which is going to be tricky to fit into place.
And we're both thick-headed with colds and in no mood to do this but it has to be done.
