Exciting but scary.



Buried alive - huge squick so my palms were damp for much of this and I was tense even though I knew they were both perfectly safe because, hello, not going to kill them.

Isn't it funny how you can be like that? ::ponders::

So much love for the way they worked, surface and buried people and just didn't give up.

So much drool for Booth bodyslamming that guy who, and I'm not ashamed to admit it, I totally thought would turn out to be the murderer, which, I guess, not so much.

So much love for the contempt with which the murderer wasn't identified becasue he's toast, end of story, the team will get him tomorrow, he's Not Important, on borrowed time, etc. ::brushes hands off disdainfully::

This really is The Little Show That Could. It doesn't get much fic - don't hit me with links; I know there is some; it's just not ficced much. It's sternly keeping to the creation of a very different relationship between Bones and Booth; they're not romantically involved, they're not sexually entangled - and yet they are, and yet they're... not. TWoP abandoned it. I almost did, then went back to it mid S1 and fell for it.

And yet it's in S2 and going strong.

I like it.
