Feel slightly more human this morning even if I have only just got up and it's, umm, 10.39. The place is a tip, though, as nothing got done yesterday. And making the Christmas cake will make even more sticky, floury, sugary mess but that's always fun. It's a family activity (which means the girls lose interest after five minutes, David switches off the carols very soon and we have to drag the girls back in to take their turn stirring.)

David and I enjoy it, anyway.
