Hands and arms all cramped and quivery from much snow digging over the last few days - and my back's killing me. It wasn't a huge amount; three inches, maybe, but on top of the ice rain deposit it was heavy to shift. The kids are loving the chance to sledge in the back garden, though.

I'm working on a few things that are spinning their wheels; the TS vid is sort of there, sort of not and every time I try and fix it, WMM crashes which is annoying. Netscape is being equally annoying and keeps opening LJ and telling me it's encountered an error and has to close. Huh.

Tonight I have to tape so much I'm convinced my head will explode. 8-9 in basement SGA, 9-10, upstairs Dresden Files, basement Desperate Housewives, 10-11 upstairs BSG.

I've watched the first two episodes of NCIS and enjoyed them a lot. I'm not madly inclined to fic or ship or slash as yet; the fact that I couldn't possibly write about what they do with any confidence or accuracy puts me off. I winged it with SG-1 but what I know about forensics and such would fit on the back cover of a Kathy Reichs paperback. I do want to watch more though and I'm ah, sorting that out... And I love Gibbs. Yes.

Speaking of Kathy Reichs, I watched my Bones DVDs and listened to the episode with DB and ED doing the commentary. So darn adorable ::hearts::

Writing; I have two original short stories to write for April/May, one of which is going in an actual print anthology from Torquere. A proper book! I know, I know; but paper feels more...it's just something you can hold, you know?

I'm in the middle of a weird TS fic that's just... hmm. Not sure where it's going.

I have an Eclipsed follow-up to do, I want to continue the Womack/Sandburg one and I have editing to do as well.

And I can't seem to settle to any of it ::sigh::

But as my brother and his girlfriend are coming over for Sunday dinner in two hours, I guess I should start peeling the spuds for roasties.
