LJ's doing that thing where I click on earlier entries and it gives me yesterday's earliers. If I don't notice, I miss lots as I just assume you're all not writing much. Should know better ;-) Have to go back and see what's what and refresh it constantly to make sure it's up to date.

Lauren did well at school and enjoyed herself.

Heh, my friend gave me a book of the Bulwer-Lytton competition entries for 1983; you know, worst first sentences, these done on purpose of course. Some are hysterical, some so so, but this one, in the SF section, caught my eye;

"The aliens bent over backwards, literally, to please their visitors." Author? Jane Amanda Espenson, Berkeley, California. Could it be 'our' Jane?

And when I have time, I'm quoting some more, because some are too good not to share, especially with my bodice ripper friends, [livejournal.com profile] keswindhover, I'm looking at you ::grin::
