I just did a Google search on Google Groups and was first told I looked like a spy bot and made to type text in a box, which, okay, whatever, and then my search threw up one result when I expected hundreds.
Out of curiosity I searched for my name, matching it with alt.fan.heinlein, and again got one very recent result when there should have been a gazillion going back to 1997 as I was searching the last 15 years or so and if you think I'm chatty on LJ, I was equally verbose on newsgroups.
Is it me, or is it a problem their end? I got quite panicked thinking that I don't exist there anymore... :;pinches me::

And there's a Jack/Daniel/Vala snippet in the comments now :-)
