Okay, I did that twenty personal canon things for Supernatural, Dean based (spoilery for the start of S2) but only managed 10 because it was harder than I thought it would be.

But still fun.

1. Dean would die for Sam and would kick his ass if Sam tried to do the same.

2. Dean would kill for Sam, and, that, yeah, Sam can do that for him. Other people dying is cool if they're evil, and if they're trying to kill him or Sammy, they're bad.

3. Dean sometimes suspects Sam's had sex more than he has. College with hot chicks and bars; hunting with slime demons and unquiet spirits around every corner. It's an unfair advantage, you have to admit.

4. Dean wanted a puppy as a kid. Really, seriously. Dreamed about one, gave it a name, talked to it when no one was around. Knew it was on the same list as friends, a garden, and getting to find your way around a town without a map because you'd been there for longer than a week.

5. Dean misses the days when it was simple. When he wasn't the oldest in the family. When he wasn't in charge. He can't understand why Sam doesn't but it doesn't mean he's going to let Sam runs things now… well. Now.

6. Fighting with Sam makes Dean feel sick to his stomach when it's for real but pissing him off to make him splutter and rant is one hell of an amusing hobby.

7. He's proud of a lot of things but never the number of kills he's made. Only amateurs count them.

8. Doesn't mean he doesn't remember every one.

9. He's told himself his mom would be proud of him, of them, so often now he almost believes it. Then he signs another false name to a bill and has to remind himself all over again.

10. It bothers him how much Sam's girlfriend, Jessica, looked like their mom but not enough to ever bring it up, even when he's drunk. Some places you don't go, you know? And it's not like Sam knew her. It's not like Dean did, either, not really, not well.

Still misses her.
