James Marsters' real voice

I found a site with clips from "Storm Front", read by JM. Gosh, he sounds so different! I know some people complain about the English accents on Buffy (and ASH's is fake too in a way as he sounds more like Spike in rl; so confusing!) but I don't know how JM manages to act and put on an accent at the same time. Well, sure, it's his job, but still ;-) I was listening eagerly, trying to catch a hint of Spike but it's almost unrecognisable. Still a very sexy voice though.
