Okay, usually I'm out of step; I like episodes others pan and vice versa but I'm hoping everyone loved this because it means they had 43 minutes of sheer fun the same way I did.
This was EXCITING! I was hunched forward in my seat, nibbling my nails. It was fast-paced, funny, masses of little in-jokes (okay, that can get a bit annoying but I think they hit the balance right here; you had Jack/RDA saying he planned to retire but just had to get back to work, DH saying he could've been an actor... there were others).
Jack. Wet. Underwater, swimming. Guh. Being snarky and yes, a little stiff at the start but that seemed to wear off, even though I don't know what order it was filmed in, obviously. Jack being Jack and that hug at the end was lovely; took him by surprise but he liked it.
And so many one-liners to snerk at.
Fun, fun, fun and I'm all bouncy here.
Landry was a pain but to be fair, Hammond would've had to have done it, too. Orders. You follow them. Unless you're SG-1 or Sheppard's Heroes :-) You could tell Walter wasn't happy, though.
