I just broke a block on an original fic I've been stuck on for way too long. Don't you hate it when you're obsessively tweaking what you've already written and convincing yourself that it counts as writing when you just know you'll get to the place where you stopped and come to a grinding halt again?
It's my story for the upcoming Men in Uniform 2 anthology from Torquere Press; I love the story and the characters but I just froze up for some reason at 3,000 words and couldn't get myself unfrozen.
All warm now, and as smut approaches, better make that 'hot' :-)
