Want to know what I love? It's rechargeable, buzzes when you turn it on and makes you independent of any man.

Yep. It's my electric screwdriver.

I love it. Grovelling to my husbnad to get him to do some DIY has never been one of my favourite activities but I know my limitations when it comes to rawl plugs and such. Besides, it's boring. I like the destination but not the journey. My usual technique was to get a power tool, plug it in, switch it on and count to three. By thr..there's usually a panting man, panicking at the thought that I'm about to play with his tool. (Innuendo and entendres are part of my heritage, m'kay?)

But even that subterfuge, amusing though it is, can pall(I once rang my husband at work and told him that I'd begun work on putting up the shelves in my library. He begged me to stop and came home early as he was sure I'd mess it up. Then he didn't measure the last line of screw holes properly and the shelves run uphill ever so slightly. I treasure that ammunition for future debates so I didn't berate him - much).

So I love that little electric screwdriver with all my heart.
