I was so intrigued by the dust jacket that I bought the latest Nora Roberts in hardback. It's called 'Remember When' and it's by Nora Roberts and J D Robb. The story is split; in the first part Roberts is writing her standard heroine/hero/lurking villain, all after Object X. It's set now. Half way through, she hands over to Robb and the story jumps 60+ years to have Eve, Peabody and Roarke after it. It's such a neat idea!

I'm only just at the start but I'm going to be sad when she switches hats as, inevitably the heroes will be dead/ancient by the time Eve takes over.

I wonder if she feels she writes differently as Robb? If it was a jolt switching from present to future? If I didn't know who they were, would I think they were two people? Hmm...don't think so. The taste, the voice is too distinct.

Anyway, it's an amusing conceit (yes, I have been reading Heyer recently :-))
