Because except for a handful of you, I really can't remember how I got to friend you (brain of mush) so I imagine the same's true in reverse. Because I liked you. Because you said something kind about my fics. Because you were a friend of a friend. Because I adored your fics. Because you friended me and you looked nice.
If you write fic I won't necessarily read it as some of you write pairings I'm not drawn to and I don't have time to read all the fic that hits my buttons smack on, let alone ones that don't, but if I read it, I'll comment. Promise.
I didn't know most of you before/outside LJ and I wish I'd met you earlier. You're a wonderfully imaginative, intelligent, interesting, intriguing, insightful bunch and I'd love to get drunk and party with you all.
I'm still a little incredulous that people want to read what I write but I know some of you do. Thanks for the feedback, the comments, the beta reading, the encouragement. You don't know how much it helps. Lots, that is.
Consider yourselves ego stroked and hugged, smooched and licked. Or take a quick step backwards if you'd rather go for the manly handshake option ;-)
