I'm contemplating getting a DVD burner (well, David's doing the contemplating, staring at the motherboard manual to see if we have a free slot. Or something.)
I'm getting tired of watching everything on my computer (okay, that sounds incredibly whiny but if David wants to watch it, too, we end up hunched around it and it's not comfortable) and burned CDs won't play on our, getting old now, DVD player. Sadly, as it's all tied into the big screen TV sound system as it's an amplifier as well, we can't just replace the DVD player with a cheap new one which probably would play them. And we don't have enough holes/spaces/slots on the TV to run a cheap DVD as well as the current one.
Apparently.
Tech makes my head ache.
The good news is that DVD burners are now cheap as chips as most computers come with them automatically. Future Shop have one for $50 or so.
