Took the girls skating. I don't, so I was in open sandals, showing off my pedicure. Lauren came off the ice, I sort of grabbed her to help her onto the bench and her skate sliced across my toes, neatly removing half of one nail.
Blood. Much blood, me trying to remain calm, luckily my friend April was there and got me Band Aids and dealt with the kids.
Then I saw the piece of nail on the floor :;shudders::
I'm okay and it doesn't hurt now, just the odd twinge, but I feel definitely on the dizzy side.
Not looking forward to peeling off the Band Aid and examining the damage but it has to be done.
And my pretty, painted nails.... ::cries:;
