It's the birthday of two very special people today:
spikedluv and
lit_gal. I'm sending out as many good wishes as can be crammed into an LJ post and I hope your days are as wonderful as you deserve (which is very).
::much love::
I wasn't around yesterday; we drove into Toronto to meet my friend and much fun was had so when I came back I got the kids off to bed early and collapsed.
Had to get up at 5.45 today, you see; Eleanor, my baby, just this second left with one of her friends to go to their cottage, won't be back until monday. She's gone on slepovers but never been away from home for this long before and although excited, is a little tearful, too. I'm planning to totally spring clean her room while she's away and add some bits and bobs as an early birthday surprise.
Anyway, the early bed and lack of LJ meant I missed a fic by
t_verano, always a treat, but this one was to celebrate the anniversary of me posting my first Sentinel fic which just has me so touched :;hugs her tight::
It's here: Math and it's Jim/Blair, and oh... had me choked up at the end. Just perfect. She writes a Jim and Blair who are so solidly them; blissfully, safely, reassuringly them.
And now, I think, weird though it sounds, I'm getting undressed and going back to bed. Yes, I know. I'm up. I should make a start on the day. But everyone else is in bed and I feel muzzy-headed.
Good morning and good night :;smooches::
