Brain is fried; seven hours in the hot, hot sun as we took Lauren and her friend around the African Lion Safari. Both girls behaved very well. Lauren whined towards the end but it was very hot, the parrots weren't that visible, and she wanted to go to the waterpark. David, foolish man that he is, had planned to do that in the middle of the day and then do the boat ride/train trip/birds of prey.
Hah.

I bought a pack of popcorn (Orvelle Redenbechers or something like that) with a free DVD; pilot episodes of House, Las Vegas, Psych, Magnum PI... way cool :-) Another in the series of 4 has the pilot of Heroes, too. I quite liked Psych; two Stargate people guest starred in it; George Hammond and ack, forget his name; tall guy, leader of the Athosians. H someone. See; brain fried. And it was fun seeing the first episode of Las Vegas which is totally added to my shows I must watch list even when Richard Burgi isn't in it (he'll be in the first episode of the new season, although given what he did at the end of the last season, I don't forsee it ending happily for him...)

t_verano to be beta'd so there will be more of that sooner than there was the last time (does that make ANY sense?); plus I'm already writing the next bit. I want to get some exposition/backstory done but the boys keep talking or having sex. Not that I can blame them for that....
