I am in a fog of tired. Woke up at 9.05 after going back to sleep and had to leave the house at 9.20. I'm surprised I managed to get my shoes on the right feet. I just can't sleep at all the last few weeks; I lie there and it gets to be two, then three, then four o'clock...
Which probably explains why it just took me half an hour to sort out my two Stargate Awards noms into the right categories. I was chuffed to find I'd been nominated, actually; I saw they'd been sent out a few days ago and hadn't got an email until this morning so I'd assumed I wasn't going to be involved and gave a sad little meep. I haven't written much in this fandom recently though; finishing Eclipsed was about all I could think of that I'd done, apart from a few ficlets, so it wasn't exactly a surprise.
Feels funny to be nominated for a het fic and a gen one, though, and not a slash one; I forget I do write them sometimes :-) Thank you to whoever nominated me!
I watched part of the first episode of Eureka last night (another of the free with popcorn DVDs). I stopped when I got bitten. This is driving me crazy; there's a mosquito in the family room and it attacks without warning. The last few bites had just stopped itching and now I have another one. I was enjoying Eureka, though and it was nice recognising a Stargate character; the sheriff is Nerus.
ETA And Garry Chalk is in it, too (General Chekov). Okay, it's filmed in Vancouver, right? ::g::
