My parents arrive from the UK today for a two week stay. For once, the house is pretty tidy so I'm not feeling panicked. Not that I do much when it's family coming because, hey; family :-)
I got up 20 minutes early to tape Richard Burgi in an episode of The District ::pins on fan girl badge:: I should've just set the timer but we had a power cut yesterday so it would've meant reprogramming the VCR and I couldn't be bothered. It took about ten minutes to watch on fast forward; RB was in it for perhaps 90 seconds; three short appearances but he looked good.
I was also amused by the fact that one of the main characters in this episode (a guest star) who got way more screentime, was James Parks, who played the bad guy, Juno in TS 1.3 'Killers'.
And I'm kicking myself for not recognising him in his other roles before looking him up. He was in Bones, Pharrin in SG-1's 'Lifeboat' and Tector Gorch on BtVS 'Bad Eggs'. That gets him lots of Xs on my bingo card :-)
Am I the only one (why do I say that? I never am) who's feeling slightly stressed over the upcoming plethora of NEW EPISODES, OMG?
I've been feeling snowed under mainlining old shows but now I'm going to be back to half a dozen videos scattered about and dashing down to the basement to tape X while Y tapes upstairs.
I need a schedule written out and pinned on the fridge. Seriously. So many shows...
